Benedict Akika, the kidnapped PDP chieftain, Regains Freedom

Benedict Akika, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and a 

supporter of Governor Seyi Makinde, who was abducted last week from his Ibadan home, has regain freedom.

It was gathered that he was freed today.

This is coming, six days after gunmen broke into his Olorunda home and took him away to somewhere unknown.

Chief Akika is reported to have been taken to an undisclosed medical facility for assessment.

It was unclear at the time of publication whether or not ransom was paid.

Recall that few days ago, his loyalists offered interdenominational prayers to ask God for his safe return.
